In a Word….

Do not misinterpret the way that I speak.
Do not be intimidated by the stage that I seek.
For I am not one to be shy with words.
My tongue is sharper than the mightiest of swords.
I speak from my heart with the truest of intentions.
And all one has to do is sit down and listen.
At a loss for words I will never be.
Something will always come out of me.
I can express myself in the glory of words
I know without them I would be so bored.
“What’s in a word?”, people often say.
It is that one word that can change the course of a day.
It could be that one word we all long to hear.
It could be a word that we haven’t heard in a year.
